The Blue Fronted Amazon is still one of the most widely kept Amazon pet overseas and surpasses any other big parrot including the African Grey parrots.
This type of bird is just as comfortable talking, whistling and laughing, as it is making its own sounds and most of the time prefers to imitate and interact with its keepers. They have so much character and pet potential.
These birds are becoming more popular every year as we have seen over the last few years. They've won the heart of many a parrot lover and it's no surprise with their endearing personality and bright, colourful appearance.
They are easy to maintain and mainly hardy, robust birds to keep.
Appropriate paper work will be with the birds.
For Sale
is an unrelated pair of
Blue-fronted Amazons.
Bred in 2008, making them one year advanced for breeding, these birds were hand-reared, and put together in an aviary.
They are still quiet and friendly, with an extensive vocabulary.
Regrettable sale, due to change in family's circumstances, aviaries have to go.
This pair are very well bonded, feed each other, sleep together, preen each other etc.
Cock Bird.
This bird was hatched Sept.'08 and has a split ring.
His parents are the breeding pair for sale (lot 40).
X
Hen Bird.
This bird was hatched Nov. 08 and is closed rung.
The hen is the bird showing the yellow shoulder in the photographs.
Her parents will be available for sale shortly.
