The poicephalus genius, must be one of my all time favourite's.

The most commonly represented in Aussie aviaries

of this genius, is the Senegal Parrot.

 As the name suggest's, they originate from Senegal Africa.

They are quite and unassuming and have a quite tweeting call. They can be held and in a medium suspended .

They like quiet neighbour's and to be in a shady part of the yard, as a contradiction they are very territorial, so double wireing is a must.

They can be expected to commence breeding at an age of 5yr's of age.

And so the older and the more breeding history, the pairs the more valuable they become.

There are regional variances in the colour of the sides of the chest, rangeing from Lemon to a burnt Orange.

This COCKBIRD, is being sold to start again with a young pair.

This bird has been kept in a suspended flight, and feed on a diet of small parrot, pellet's and soaked seed and vegie mix.
